This is to notify you that the Department of Transportation will begin road work in your community, starting WEDNESDAY February 1, 2017. This work will take approximately 120 days to complete depending on the weather and scheduling of other city wide road resurfacing contracts. This work will include installing of new traffic signals and poles and cameras and pedestrian signals. Then adjusting some structures in the roadway, then the milling of the existing roadway and will conclude with the resurfacing of the roadway. The start date and completion time are estimates only and may vary depending on the weather and the scheduling of other city wide resurfacing contracts.
We respectfully request your cooperation while we are performing work and strongly encourage you to pay close attention to parking restrictions so that work can be performed expeditiously. Parking restrictions will be posted at least 72 hours ahead of any work activity in the roadway. Please be advised that parking violators will be ticketed and towed.
