Citizens on Patrol
Our community works closely with the district police to provide safety so that we can walk freely on our streets and alleyways with our
children and pets both day and night. We have several high profile persons that live in our community that are provided police protection
for themselves and their homes so it is not unusual to see a police car in the neighborhood and it doesn't mean that there is a problem.
We also have a group that walks with other neighborhood groups in ours and other neighborhoods along with the police for a presence of
concern for all our neighborhoods.
We have a neighborhood Citizens on Patrol that is in operation every day of the month. Baltimore is one of those cities that has a
bad reputation for crime. Yes, we lock our doors and we watch out for each other and we are pro-active in terms of crime. It has
paid off with a safe neighborhood that is enjoyed by those that choose this part of the city to make their home.
